We hope you’re having a fabulous holiday season, stuffing yourself with delicious food and shopping for goodies for all your loved ones (skates make an excellent gift!). Just know that the Lonestar Rollergirls are hard at work during this off-season, practicing two and three times a week and planning for next season, sure to be the best season yet!
Introducing: The Cherry Bombs
Look out for the newest gang of bad girls tearing up a banked track near you… The Cherry Bombs may look sweet and innocent, but these heartthrobs have a kick that will leave you begging for mercy. Led by Cherry Chainsaw herself and powerhouse veterans Varuca Assault, Stoli Rocks, and Dyna Dash, the Cherry Bombs promise to shake up next season's schedule with serious blocking power and a batch of new recruits ready to prove themselves against the veteran skaters. You won’t want to miss the Cherry Bombs’ first game on March 6 as they face the Rhinestone Cowgirls.
2004 Championship Bout Recap:
Calvello Cup Champions – † Holy Rollers †
These schoolgirls graduated to champion status after a 62-60 victory over the Rhinestone Cowgirls at the Nov. 14th championship bout. The Rollers led the Cowgirls by 15 points at half-time, but true to the Wild West spirit, the Cowgirls battled back in the second half, pulling the game to a nail-biting showdown in the last minutes of the game. The Holy Rollers banded together and proved why they led the league in victories this season, sending the Cowgirls back to the ranch with a failing grade. Check out the pictures !

While the Holy Rollers bask in the glory of their Calvello Cup World Championship and near-perfect 2004 season record, the All-Scar Army is gathering its forces to challenge the Rollers in the annual Valentine’s Day Massacre on Feb. 13. Will the Holy Rollers continue their straight-A streak or will the All-Scar Army divide and conquer the high-rolling schoolgirls? It’s sure to be a no-holds-barred battle as skaters from last season’s teams make a stand and teach the Rollers a lesson they won’t soon forget…
