Come get rowdy with us!

Will the Bombs destroy those rambling Stones?

The Rhinestone Cowgirls are saddled up with their skates strapped and their lassos at the ready to take on the 2017 Calvello Cup Champs, the Cherry Bombs! This will be the Bombs’ debut for the 2018 season, and they have been itching to get back out on the track and destroy the star-spangled outlaws. The Rhinestones already have one win in the books for the season, but the Bombs aren’t going to let go of their two-year undefeated status just yet!

The Bombs bid farewell to two fan favorites last season, Rocky Casbah and Trainwreck Trina, but that doesn’t mean they’re down by any means! New captains Dawna Destruction and Lois Slayin’ are working hard to to make sure their team comes out with a bang, and they’ve added end-of-season draft pick Macho Mandy Savage and former Holy Roller NucLeah to their gang! With a roster full of long-time vets like Bully Jean, Scrappy, Milla Juke-A-Bitch and Rolla Parks, they’re prepared to jump back in right where they off by blowing up their competition.

Meanwhile, the Rhinestones showed true grit and focus in their first game against the Holy Rollers, lassoing up the points to take the win with a score of 95 – 59. With the help of brutal blockers like Bikini Killer, Cold Warr, and Liv R Damage, their jammers were able to slide right through any tough wall with ease. Jammers like Mad Maxican and Sassy Squasher may look small but they’re some of the best in the Wild West

The HCRA is the largest fundraiser for nine local non-profit organizations: AIDS Services of Austin, allgo, CARE Program, Community Action, Friends of David Powell Health Center, Out Youth, Project Transitions, Waterloo Counseling, and the Wright House Wellness Center.
