Growing up in the swamps of south Texas, Jammin' E. Cricket always felt out of place. She was a rambunctious ball of energy without a way to channel her enthusiasm and aggression. Cricket was always picked on because she was tiny, but she knew that one day she would be able to make those bullies pay. She spent most of her time reading books about grand adventures, hoping that one day she would be able to embark on her own exciting journey. Then, one day, Cricket hopped into a TXRD championship bout and immediately knew that she needed roller derby in her life, whatever it took. She strapped on some pads and learned to jump around on skates the same way she had done every day on her feet, and how to hit people that were much bigger than she was. Now a proud Cherry Bomb, Cricket knows that when you wish upon a star, your dreams can come true.
