Sindra Dee

Sindra Dee hails from Cow Town USA. Hers was a childhood torn between two different worlds: the dark and dingy skating rink on the outskirts of town and the bright lights of the stage. She was on eight wheels as soon as she could walk and grew up breaking hearts--and skulls--every night at the rink. By day, her grades were high and her smile was sweet. She was a huge theater fan, particularly of cheesy old-school musicals. As a Pink Lady fan since childhood, she was always destined to be Hellcat!

When she got a little older, she discovered the soul stylings of Aretha Franklin and often performed for friends at late night parties with plenty of beers and brawls. Night after night, Sindra Dee and her crew would get the party started with dominoes and brewskies, and no one can command a table of bones like Sin. A born competitor, she couldn't resist taunting her opponents, which led to a couple of knock-downs. Turns out it was all good training for her future derby days. In fact, the only fight that Sin ever lost was a battle with a margarita machine some years ago.

Over the years, Sindra Dee has tried other towns--she even spent some time in Costa Rica working on her Spanish accent. She checked out the West Coast in Seattle, but got tired of all that damn rain. So the story brings her back home to Austin, Texas and the TXRD--Lonestar Rollergirls, where she once again has the chance to perform, compete and, above all, say, "Look at me, I'm Sindra Dee… ready to kick ass!!! Hell yeah, HELLCATS!!!!"
