Born in Texas, little Dyna spent her time dreaming of paved sidewalks and big cities. She was tired of rolling around in the dirt. The BMX thing was not for her. Times were tough, money was little, so Mom sold her to a traveling circus in Coney Island, USA. Her days of working the sideshow had begun. Brooklyn was tough and winters were cold, and getting sawed in half 12 times a day was bad for her complexion. Dumpster diving for corn dogs was even worse.

The Cherry Bombs were in town and decided to spend the day in Coney Island getting drunk and repeatedly riding the Cyclone. After puking up everything they had eaten for weeks, they decided to take it easy and chill out in the sideshow. After seeing a few acts, they heard a fight break out. From backstage, two girls came tumbling out. They watched in awe as the skanky snake lady and a little blonde beat the shit out of each other, eventually impaling the snake lady into the bed of nails. Was this an act?

Turns out it wasn’t. The Geek broke it up and apologized to the audience. That snake bitch had stole Dyna’s favorite skates and Dyna was making her pay! Unfortunately, because of the bloody stage, the show could not go on. The Cherry Bombs were pissed and had to jump the Strong Man to get their money back. Cherry Chainsaw felt bad for Dyna and bought her a beer or two and before you knew it, hey were out the door.

Worn out after a long day of barfing and fighting, the Cherry Bombs and Dyna hit the local greasy spoon. “Order whatever you want, it’s on me,” said Dyna as they ordered up cheeseburgers and milkshakes. “I’ll meet you on the rain.” And she did.

So Dyna became Dyna Dash after running out on that first tab. She couldn’t ever go back to the old neighborhood after that, so she just tagged along with her new friends.

The Ramones were playing CBGB’s that night, so they hauled ass, jumping the turnstyle to get to Manhattan and catch the show. Ginger got scrappy in the pit and head-butted Dyna to see what she was made of. Dyna at last had been jumped into the Cherry Bombs! Oh shit! That could mean serious trouble back in Austin. So they disguised her as a Hellcat to learn some tricks of the rival team so that in 2007, the Cherry Bombs would become the baddest girls in derby history!
