The Lonestar Board Whores are pleased to announce that this Sunday they will be logging on and drafting their teams for the first season of TXRD Fantasy Derby, an activity in which the Whores will assemble our own All-Scar Armies. We will have the chance to manage our lineups and cheer on our teams as the season gets under way. Ten team managers have jumped up to take part in the fun, and they’ll compete in two divisions of five to see who can pick the team that will bring in the most points.
Get ready for the first regular season bout of 2008: Hellcats vs. Rhinestone Cowgirls! Both these teams are chompin’ at the bit for a place in the Calvello Cup Championship bout, and there’s sure as shoot gonna be fightin’ six ways from Sunday. Will the Rhinestone Cowgirls ride hell-for-leather to victory or will the Hellcats show them the business end of a hissy fit? Come to the Convention Center and find out!
