Referees Wanted!

Looking for personable individuals with good communication skills, and some free time to commit to help wrangle a rowdy bunch of roller girls as volunteer referees for the TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls banked-track league. MUST be available, with reliable transportation, for practices on most Monday and Thursday evenings, and MUST be available for bouts which are scheduled on either Saturday or Sunday evenings (please refer to www.TXRD.com/schedule to review the regular season schedule). Refereeing experience of any type is a plus, but is absolutely not required. An ability to skate is not necessary.
Trainees will receive instruction from existing crew of experienced TXRD referees. This is a volunteer position with some perks. Orientation will begin on Monday, January 16, 2012, at 6:30p. Please respond to refs@txrd.com for more details, and please serious inquiries only!
