| AN OPEN LETTER TO AMBER's LOVED ONES ...
It's rare to find someone who's character - the parts that really matter like intelligence, humor, imagination, and compassion - are as lovely as her appearance. This is the gift that Amber gave all of us.
She was a true diva - a superstar with flash, heat, and substance. She could wear a feather boa with abandon, make up her doll-face like a movie starlet, and accessorize like nobody's business. And she could control an unruly crowd - of Roller Derby fans or of energy-crazed toddlers - a sure smile, a tilt of her head, a snap of her fingers, and a flick of her hip.
But her truest talents were her grace and integrity. She loved her dear Tulsa to distraction. She had creative ideas that inspired our imaginations. And when she had something to say, she looked us in the eye and told us the truth with words and an attitude that engendered our respect. She spoke her mind ... but it was with intuition and empathy that made us all believe she knew how we felt, even if she didn't agree. And always, we were made to feel valued.
Amber had spunk. She had style. She had a mischievous laugh that rang out loud and long. And she had a gracious and generous heart that warmed us. She was named simply Amber, but to us will always be Amberdiva ... our sparkling diva here on earth and our glowing angel forever in Heaven.
Our deepest sympathy to all those who loved and lost her. We share the gifts she gave us and will preserve them in our hearts.
With abiding affection from all of us at BGGW Productions ...
