BGGW mourns the loss of our beautiful penalty mistress Amberdiva. We love you more than you will ever know & your wonderful diva spirit will carry on with each of us. Thank you for all your love & support.
AN OPEN LETTER TO AMBER's LOVED ONES ...

It's rare to find someone who's character - the parts that really matter like intelligence, humor, imagination, and compassion - are as lovely as her appearance. This is the gift that Amber gave all of us.

She was a true diva - a superstar with flash, heat, and substance. She could wear a feather boa with abandon, make up her doll-face like a movie starlet, and accessorize like nobody's business. And she could control an unruly crowd - of Roller Derby fans or of energy-crazed toddlers - a sure smile, a tilt of her head, a snap of her fingers, and a flick of her hip.

But her truest talents were her grace and integrity. She loved her dear Tulsa to distraction. She had creative ideas that inspired our imaginations. And when she had something to say, she looked us in the eye and told us the truth with words and an attitude that engendered our respect. She spoke her mind ... but it was with intuition and empathy that made us all believe she knew how we felt, even if she didn't agree. And always, we were made to feel valued.

Amber had spunk. She had style. She had a mischievous laugh that rang out loud and long. And she had a gracious and generous heart that warmed us. She was named simply Amber, but to us will always be Amberdiva ... our sparkling diva here on earth and our glowing angel forever in Heaven.

Our deepest sympathy to all those who loved and lost her. We share the gifts she gave us and will preserve them in our hearts.

With abiding affection from all of us at BGGW Productions ...

WE LOVE YOU FOXY LADY!!!

dave attell tempts fate at the penalty wheel

AmberdivA, the suspected illegitimate child of Bob Barker, was found abandoned on the set of "The Price Is Right" circa 1975. The cast and crew took her in after the decision that not knowing her ethnic origin or genetic history would make it impossible to find a retail value to give her away as a prize for the show. There she lived for several years, surviving on various unclaimed prizes and parting gifts. After one too many fist fights with those damn Barker Beauties she decided to move on. Roaming from set to set, she eventually found a special home on Wheel of Fortune circa 1988. She was entranced by that big sparkily wheel, and set out to one day take both Pat and Vanna's jobs and dreamed of turning the whole show into a Vegas theme burlesque. Just as she was set for a prime-time coop, tragedy struck. The set was ATTACKED by the notorious "Okie Gypsy" gang and she was forced into white slavery on the trailer park ridden wasteland known as Oklahoma. A sad fate for such a talented Diva, no doubt. There she learned many tricks and counter culture skills, until one day she escaped to Texas with the Southwest Chapter of the Drum and Bass Booty Rocket DJ gang. The ladies of Bad Girl Good Woman Productions were delighted to find her swindling both children and adults at a carney sideshow on the outskirts of Austin. With her fabulous style and keen sense of showmanship those derby girls have remained thankful of her presence ever since.
